What software do you use?

So far I’ve been using the most common graphic program in the world: Paint 6.0.

It’s not that bad, actually. This helps you realise its potential:

Still, I’m looking for something better, but I don’t want it to be complicated.

I was a great fan of Macromedia FLASH, but the version I had was illegal. And I believe in legal stuff, you know!

Features I miss:

• To turn things a few degrees clockwise or counterclockwise.
• To make things transparent.
• To use layers (decide one thing to be on top or beneath the other).
• To save as proper JPGs (Paint 6.0 saves in such a bad quality!)

I don’t have any money, so I’m looking for something free (and then I may consider a small donation, of course). Any recommendation is most welcome, just make a comment to this page.
